In February 2000, the first test version of the Luxembourg Comic Magazine was published, marking a significant milestone for the Luxembourg comic scene. This initial release was the beginning of a series of publications, with a total of four issues released by 2002. Notably, the fourth issue was the first to be printed entirely in color, setting a new standard in visual presentation.

Following the publication of the fourth issue, it became clear that a rethinking of the magazine's concept was necessary. As a result, the magazine was rebranded as Comicline Fanzine. Under this new name, four more issues were published up until 2005. This rebranding reflected an expanded focus and a deeper engagement with the comic community, marking the start of a new era for the Luxembourg comic landscape.
